Women Don’t Make Noise In The Bathroom

Mad James

As a woman in business, I deal with varying levels of bathroom talk by the men I work with.  I know they’re stupid and they know they’re stupid, but it goes on and it will and women will have to deal with it.  (I am referring to stupid men, here)

But, when I hear some of their talk I do have to consider the horrible experiences that many of us deal with in the Ladies Room.

What makes women so careless and disrespectful that they discard very personal items in such open ways – items from the drugstore, to sounds coming from who knows where on their body?

One women actually said to me, “well, we’re women, you know….”  And, after I thanked her for confirming that I was in the right bathroom I went back to washing my hands as SHE DID NOT.  It’s not that I’m a germaphobe or have a fear of using the bathroom in a public place (you know who you are), it’s that some people just don’t care…and it’s disgusting to others.  And, in this scenario, the “others” should have more control.

That being said, here are the top 5 things I hate about using my work restroom:

 1.     Women who sound like they’re doing Lamaze in the next stall; that’s enough to make me want to

vomit right then and there.

2.     Women who, for some reason, feel it necessary to stretch their feet into your stall; what’s going on over there anyway?

3.     Women who choose the stall right next to you even when at least three others are available.

4.     Women who think that by flushing 17 times while using the restroom are masking the fact that they’re “really” going to the bathroom. News Flash – we all know what’s going on! (except, of course, with #2 – and I don’t mean poop)

5.     Women who pee on the floor; yes, pee on the floor. I guess I can understand how a guy might miss, but come on girls, get a nozzle.

By the way, to those of you who may have missed this chapter in the book, it’s better to pick up your skirt when you sit than to drop the entire thing to the floor like you do your pants.  Some skirts cover a lot of ground and the ground being covered is not clean.  At least where I work.
