I should start every article with “I am thankful I have a job right now.” And I truly am. Not a day goes by I don’t think about what my life would be like if I wasn’t employed and cashing a paycheck every two weeks. But at the same time, that will not stop me from complaining and bitching about my job. It’s just human nature. Or maybe it’s just my human nature.
Looking for simple ways to cut overhead is not an easy thing to do, especially when almost everything has already been cut. I understand it must be hard for my boss right now, trying to keep the business alive and kicking. At some point though, it has to stop. The latest cut is employees are not allowed to turn the heater on. I took a peak at the thermostat yesterday…57 degrees. It was actually colder outside than it was in the office.
Dear Santa Claus: I wanted to follow up with you. All I wanted for Christmas was a beanie, scarf and gloves. You delivered. I love them and they go perfectly with business casual. Thanks.

I don’t know who you are AN, but I’m in love with you.
When it gets that cold my fingers pretty much stop working, except for one.
We just started holding back on kitchen supplies and have to bring our own coffee mugs. This is the third time in my working life that things have turned so bad.
