<description>Hello Chrystal Cathedral. When it came time for our children to enter the work force they chose another way than what they'd been brought up in. My wife and I ran the Trailways Bus Station here in Durango, Co. for many years. Three of our four children were by our side all through their lives until they graduated from high school. Occassionally though; when they needed a job we were able to help. So; it's nothing new. Remember that my grandfather was a farmer near Tabor, Iowa. When my dad go to an age where he could have taken over he decided to move to the city. This was about 1927. He met my mom and then I came along in 1929. And I imagine you know what happened that year. Dad was out of a job and fortunately he was able to call up his knowledge about farming and that is where he took the family. Back to an Iowa farm. No electricity. No indoor plumbing. Farmed with horses. Mom took on the task of raising chickens and a truck garden; besides keeping my sister and me in hand.
So; what has happened to Robert A.? Did he go back to San Juan Capistrano? We've been noticing his absence but have hesitated inquiring. How about his son? Wasn't being trained too to come into the ministry? Appreciate you bringing me up to date and maybe a message some Sunday would be in line as more than likely there are a lot of others that watch the Hour of Power are curious. Oh yes; been watching the Hour of Power since spring of '86. Used to belong to the Eagle Club but as you know Trailways went broke and that curbed our spending. My eternal thanks though that you folks got me back to church that spring.
