I’m Burned Out

Letter To W2

I’m burned out.  The work just gets worse, the demands are more, and there is less time.  And during it all I think they’re going to can us anyhow because they’re out of cash and credit.  I can’t sleep and notice that my feet sweat when I’m in bed.  I don’t want to talk to anyone about it at work because I don’t want to be looked at as weak or falling apart.  Please help me.

Dear BO:

You’ll need to do the work on changing this outlook of yours.  I highly recommend you seek the assistance of a professional.  You need to go speak with someone that can help you get focused and out of this place you’re in.  No sleeping will only exaggerate the situation and make you feel as if the weight of the world is on your shoulders.

Seems that you need to get proactive and find another job.  When I hear the words ‘burned out’ that tells me you’ve lost interest and are no longer fulfilled in your job; therefore, you’ve only got one life… so go live it…..look into books that can help you find your way and the career you have always wanted.  I’m actually reading one now, it’s called What Color is Your Parachute? 2009 by Richard Nelson Bolles….this is just one of many good books out there to help get you motivated.

Till then do the best you can…….

Everyone at my job is exhausted. The work hasn’t really changed that much, in fact its’ a little less jobs now than it was. But were more scared. My mom told me not to watch the news before i go to bed.

Everyone needs to stop crying about everything and get to work. The weak will be wiped out and the strong will get the jobs. Ok by me.
