Somebody Farted And It Wasn’t Laura!

The Worried Worker (W2)

It’s pretty smelly in Washington right now.  Just as President Bush was counting the days to his retirement (as were most people in the world) – and enjoying the preparations for his presidential library – all eight years of achievements contained in one Footjoy golf shoe box   he once again passed a giant wind.
The president asked Congress for the authority to spend as much as $700 billion to buy failed mortgage assets to contain the spreading financial crisis the most sweeping economic intervention by the government since the Great Depression.

“It is a big package because it’s a big problem,” Bush said, sharing his expert analysis of the situation.  ”The risk of doing nothing far outweighs the risk of the package.”  Of course, no one commented on how long his administration has been doing nothing, and just as reporters were going to confirm that there really were no details to his plan, the smell emptied the room.

A line is forming at the left for volunteers to participate in the president’s job exit interview.

Volunteers can send their requests to The Worried Worker at w2@bizpain.com

I’m not sure about this kind of news and don’t think it’s very sophisticated, but the truth is the truth - and as Al said, “it’s inconvenient.” President Bush and his administration should have been fired a long time ago - but replaced with what? They’re all the same and everyone’s does stink.

This site seems to have a lot on it about farting.

Global warming has gotten worse during Bush’s term.
